Save €200 on CamperDays road trips this Black Friday
CamperDays, Europe’s leading campervan tour operator, is offering a €200 discount on all campervan bookings worldwide with the code BLACKCAMPER as part of its Black Weeks campaign running 17 November – 2 December 2025.
This applies to vehicle bookings over €1,750 total, so an ideal time to tick off those bucket-list road trips.
Max Schmidt, Chief Adventurer at CamperDays, says: “The Black Weeks discount applies to vehicle bookings over €1,750 total, so it’s an ideal excuse to save some cash on those bucket-list itineraries like the Route 66, the Great Ocean Road or Iceland’s Ring Road.”
See below for Max’s recommended itineraries to book on Black Friday.
Celebrating 100 years of Route 66
Research commissioned by CamperDays in May 2025 reveals that 31% of British motorists say driving through the USA remains their dream road trip. Why not use Black Friday as your excuse to start planning a legendary journey across the route in its centenary year (2026).
Using a campervan to traverse the route means that you get to follow your own itinerary, camping out under the stars and ticking off the countless landmarks along the way.
For further savings, CamperDays found that travelling the route in reverse can bring about savings of over 20%.
Icelandic ISK-cursions
Embrace the northern chill or beat the summer heat on a breathtaking Icelandic road trip.
Start in Reykjavik and head clockwise, stopping at Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls, then detour to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. Head on to the East Fjords for dramatic coastal drives, then north to Lake Mývatn’s hot springs. End with a dip in the Blue Lagoon before returning to base back in Reykjavik.
Or, Iceland's Ring Road offers diverse landscapes, including waterfalls, glaciers, volcanoes, black sand beaches, and geothermal hot springs. Key stops include Reykjavik, the Golden Circle, Vatnajökull National Park, and the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon.
Icelandic roads are perfect for those new to driving a van, with the route largely on flat, wide roads. Just make sure to stick to speed limits and watch out for speed cameras.
Out on the Great Ocean Road
The spectacular Great Ocean Road hugs the seaside cliffs that twist along the wild and windswept Southern Ocean, extending from Torquay in the east to Warrnambool in the west.
This coastal drive is renowned for its stunning ocean views, iconic rock formations like the Twelve Apostles, lush rainforests, and charming seaside towns – the stretch between Lorne and Apollo Bay is particularly scenic. Travelers can enjoy scenic lookouts, wildlife spotting, and surfing along the way.
