Maui Beach Elite, Perth, written on about 2 months ago

Camping chair and table were missing. Gas bottle was empty on 2nd day. They seem not to check if the person before has filled it! We bought it and got money back. 2h waiting for pick up, got 140 AD refund for that. Electric heater was missing. But it was warm enough. Support by telephone was good.

1. the day before we were informed by telephone that we should arrive at the rental company as early as possible on the day of collection. We arrived at 8.30 a.m. but were put off hour after hour with a different argument. We were always told that the vehicle still had to be repaired. We then took over the camper at around 2.30 pm. Waiting time: a good 5 hours. 2. unfortunately there was no camping table in the vehicle. We reported this on the way. We were offered to buy a camping table and the amount would be credited to us at the end. The price limit was set at 40 dollars. That's the equivalent of about 24 Swiss francs. A laughing stock! We then decided not to buy a camping table. 3. the drawers could no longer be locked properly and kept falling out during the journey. 4. the mattresses needed to be changed more often.

  • Esperance: This is a very popular route, but it takes at least seven hours, therefore, make sure to take regular breaks. You will see some of Australia’s most stunning beaches. At Lucky Bay you’ll see Kangaroos on the beach and a one-of-a-kind Pink Lake, which looks simply spectacular in the midday sun.

  • Denmark: This route takes you through Margaret River where you will get to see amazing landscapes. There are lots of places to stop off at, such as the beach in Peaceful Bay. Along the way don’t forget to visit the striking blue waters and white sands in Greens Pool. Denmark is famous for its huge rock formations.

Things To Do and See

  • Cape Le Grand National Park: A national park famous for its ancient, rugged coastline with large granite outcrops and its picture perfect white beaches. Inland you can discover rolling heathlands that are home to western grey kangaroos. This national park is perfect for swimming, surfing, fishing and going on a boat ride.

  • Leighton Beach: This beach will give you a distinctly tropical feel. The beach is patrolled and waves tend to be small. It is popular with locals who like to spend the day there enjoying the warm water and soft white sands.

  • Hellfire Bay: This picturesque crescent of sand is located between two rocky headlands. This is one of the best beaches to visit and it is quite popular, but you can still easily find a quiet spot. The area is also popular with cyclists who enjoy the Hellfire Bay Trail.

  • Wanagarren Nature Reserve: Here you can relax on the beaches at Wedge and Grey where you can go swimming, surfing and snorkelling. At Kangaroo Point you can go fishing whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings.
