On receipt of the vehicle it was dirty, navigation system defective and unusable, grey water display defective, no toilet chemi available for the first day, camping table defective and unusable, awning unusable as there was nothing to tie it down and could not be used when there was little, body battery unusable, it did not even last half a day.

On the whole, the camper was okay. The furnishings were profit-orientated. Partly very impractical and cheap workmanship. Sparsely equipped with crockery and cutlery. Unfortunately there were no mosquito nets except in one roof window. This is not really possible for Australia. Tyres were quite worn. Tyres should have been replaced urgently. Bathroom okay, but unfortunately without hand basin. Had to be done in the kitchen sink. Converting the seats into a bed was very awkward. We then never did it. Disadvantage, you can't get to the storage compartments under the seats. The engine and workmanship of the campervan are fine. However, this camper's equipment seems to be standard here. We have seen several with the same equipment, even from other providers.

The vehicle fitted the bill perfectly for our roadtrip. We had no major problems despite covering more than 1000km in 4 days. The van was even very pleasant to drive. However, the van had a few minor faults (gas bottle door that opened by itself, side door that didn't close properly) + the cleanliness wasn't great (there were traces of spilt drinks and a bit of dirt in the luggage traps). The camper was really great for our trip because we had plenty of space, could cook in the camper if the weather didn't play ball and the bed was big. However, it was quite old and worn (dirty), one of the hobs didn't work properly and the posters on the bed were quite worn out. It didn't bother us too much, but if you expect something else for the price, you're in a bad position. In addition, the landlord requires an international driving licence (even with a German driving licence, which is in Latin script), which Camper days from Germany only writes in its small print. So we had quite a hardship on site and had to spend extra money to have the German driving licence translated, which we did not encounter with other providers (Bargain Car Rental for a "normal" rental car). It would have been nice if they had pointed this out again in the countless emails, just for customer service reasons. When we enquired, they were not very solution-orientated, which was a shame. In addition, the premium package (insurance, no deposit, camping equipment, etc.) probably didn't cover everything, as we had to pay a flat rate on site for each day for floor, roof and windscreen damage. This was also not included and could have been included directly in the premium package for an additional charge. All in all, we had a great time, but would have liked to have been taken in hand a little better and the price/performance ratio was also okay.
