Toulouse to Carcassonne
Toulouse to Carcassonne covers approximately 95 km and takes you to the medieval city of Carcassonne with its well-preserved fortress and cobblestone streets. After leaving Toulouse, head southeast towards Carcassonne, where you can enjoy the picturesque countryside, vineyards, and rolling hills. Stop at the charming town of Castelnaudary, known for its delicious cassoulet, a traditional French stew made with meat and white beans. When you reach Carcassonne, you'll be transported back as you explore the Cité de Carcassonne, a fortified city with towers, drawbridges, and narrow winding streets.

Toulouse to Andorra
Why not visit another country during your campervan holiday? Andorra is a fascinating little country tucked between France and Spain. The drive here is roughly 185km and will take you through the Pyrenees mountains, which offer great views and plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. On the way, call at Ax-les-Thermes, which is famous for its thermal baths and a nice place to stop to chill out during your drive. You’ll know when you are closer to Andorra as the scenery will become even more dramatic, full of deep gorges and tall mountains. 

Toulouse to Bordeaux
This is the biggest route on our list at 245km, but it's a dream for wine lovers. Head Northwest out of Toulouse, and you will drive through some stunning French countryside. Call at the town of Montauban, which is a great little town full of history. Then head for Agen, a town famous for its prunes and has many historical landmarks worth visiting. After that, head straight for the wine region of Bordeaux, where you will find some of the best vineyards in the world. It's also a fantastic city full of great food, history and architecture. There are plenty of campsites just outside Bordeaux for you to stay in.

Cité de l'Espace
If you love space, this must be on your list. If you have the kids with you on your campervan holiday, they will love it, as there are plenty of interactive exhibits, a planetarium and even a replica of the Mir space station.

Albi
Albi is an excellent town outside of Toulouse that should be on everyone's radar with a campervan. It has a great old town with narrow streets on the lovely River Tarn. It's a nice place to drive to that's not far away, and that's totally possible in a day trip.

Grottes de Labouiche
This is just over an hour's drive away and is a unique underground river cave system. Here, you can take guided boat tours through its underground passages full of impressive stalactites, stalagmites, and other geological formations.
