How and when do I pay for my campervan?

At CamperDays, if you're paying in British Pounds, credit card payment is the only option. However, if you choose to pay in Euros, Swiss Francs, or Polish Zloty, you can still pay via credit card or invoice. Here’s what you need to keep in mind when paying:

You can book any campervan offer using a credit card in British Pounds. Please note that only Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Simply enter your credit card details during the payment step of your booking. CamperDays will pre-authorise the full rental price in British Pounds immediately after your booking. This amount will be temporarily blocked on your card.

The full amount will be charged to your credit card within 21 days of your successful booking. If the booking isn't successful (e.g., if the campervan isn't available), the pre-authorisation will be released immediately.

If you select the invoice payment option, you can secure your campervan early and pay later. Payment is typically due approximately six weeks before your departure, with the exact date provided on your invoice and on our website prior to booking. Please note that even if you choose to pay by invoice, the booking is binding and subject to our rental conditions and General Terms and Conditions.

If invoice payment is not available, it may be due to short-term booking requirements, which necessitate payment by credit card.

While you can secure a booking without a credit card by choosing the invoice option for Euros, Swiss Francs, or Polish Zloty, you will still need a credit card in the name of the main driver when you collect the vehicle. A deposit will always be blocked on a credit card.

• The credit card must be issued in the name of the main driver.

• Ensure the credit card has a sufficient credit limit for the required deposit.

• Remember your credit card PIN, as you will usually need it to authorise the deposit.

• Only full credit cards are accepted (no prepaid or debit cards).

Currently, payments can be made in British Pounds, Euros, Swiss Francs, or Polish Zloty. If your credit card is issued in another currency, the booking price may appear differently on your bank statement. Refunds may also vary due to exchange rates, which is beyond our control.
