Pacific Marine Circle Route

It's a 280km route that goes through towns, the coast, forests, and some culture. We recommend doing it over a few days, stopping at Port Renfrew, a small town known for its big waves. Take a slight detour to see Big Lonely Doug, one of Canada's largest Douglas Fir trees. This loop has it all and is one not to be missed.
Victoria to Port Hardy
This one-way 500km route takes you into the world's northern tip of Vancouver Island. You can drive in 6-7 hours, but that's no fun; you want to stop as often as possible. Some key places to stop are Rathtrevor Beach and the Campbell River area. Take a detour to Elk Falls Provincial Park, where you can walk over a suspension bridge and check out a waterfall. Telegraph Cover is also good for whale watching and has some lovely history if you are into that sort of thing.
Victoria to Ucluelet
