We got a brand-new motorhome in excellent condition. Everything was spotless, and it had Isofix, just as we’d hoped for the two kids :) Unfortunately, the power cable was a bit faulty and kept playing up at first, but my husband’s handy and always managed to sort it out somehow.

This is the third time I’ve chosen Gast Caravanning as my hire company (a McRent partner). It’s conveniently located for me and the staff are very friendly and helpful. When it comes to minor issues with the motorhome that aren’t working properly after the trip (such as the roller blinds), the staff are very understanding at the time of return. We were given an almost new motorhome (2,600 km on the clock), yet the Sunlight model still had a few faults (the rental manager said this was ‘due to the design’): seals, shower curtain, roller blinds… all very simply constructed and prone to faults. For that reason, I wouldn’t buy a Sunlight for my own use. But for the 14 days, the vehicle was perfectly fine, and we can recommend the rental company with a clear conscience at any time. They’re absolute professionals when it comes to motorhome hire.

We had actually booked a motorhome with a fold-down bed instead of an alcove - at least that was our understanding according to the order confirmation. But it was ok and everything was great 👍🏼 Thanks for everything!

We were completely satisfied with the equipment of the camper and the contact with the landlord on site! Unfortunately, the camper was far from clean when we picked it up and we had to wipe everything down ourselves before we could start our trip.
