Cabo da Roca, otherwise known as Cape Roca
Cabo da Roca is a cape 40km west-northwest of Lisbon. It is a narrow natural formation of granite that measures around 144 metres in height and is part of the Sintra Mountain range. It is most famous for its views of the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean, free of obstruction. In the past, it was thought to be the edge of the world, and it still possesses a sense of unexplainable mystique and awe.
