They’re just American motorhomes, with all the pros and cons that entails. It was quite dusty, and the equipment provided with the hire (kitchen, laundry) is very basic. You definitely need to bring warm blankets with you, as well as something to put on top of the rubberised mattresses. Otherwise, it’s very comfortable and spacious. It’s great that you can fit two bikes in the rear garage. You can also camp anywhere with this large motorhome. At 30 feet, it’s considered small in the US, so you can fit into any motorhome pitch in state parks and any trailhead car park. There’s no reason to go for a smaller one. All that space is very comfortable. Fuel consumption: 24 litres, at approx. €1.30/l

A good, spacious motorhome, with everything working as it should. It was large by European standards, but not by American ones. The only thing that could perhaps be improved is to make the greywater tank bigger. It filled up quickly. But otherwise, it was fine.

The caravan wasn't very clean. We had to clean it when we picked it up. The staff at the Anchorage office were wonderful. Throughout the trip, the tyre pressure warning light kept coming on... at first we were worried, but then we realised it was a fault; these warnings have to be avoided.

The C21 we rented is perfect for 2 adults who get on well together. I have also booked the C25 for 2 travellers. This offers more space and comfort. The C21 is already very cramped, but if you are travelling to remote areas, the shorter vehicle length has many advantages. I always hire from Cruise America as the costs are immediately transparent and good, inexpensive all-inclusive packages can be booked. Pick-up and drop-off are always very quick.

The pick-up and drop-off in Anchorage was smooth. The staff were friendly. Vehicle had 45,000 miles on delivery, engine ran perfectly. The other technical equipment such as the generator, water heater and heating also worked perfectly. Stone chips in the windscreen are normal for the road conditions in Alaska. The insurance offered is recommended.

The vehicle is not suitable for 4 people, the table too small to place 4 plates, the mattresses too hard!

The service when picking up and returning the camper was very good and the camper was technically flawless and clean.
