She Drives Contest: Terms and Conditions

CamperDays GmbH, {{company-street}}, {{company-post-code}} {{company-city}}, {{company-country}} (see imprint), phone: {{phone-number-inland}} (at the landline rate of your telephone provider), e-mail: {{service-email}}, hereinafter referred to as ‘CamperDays’, is responsible for the above-mentioned competition.

Campaign

This is a campaign organised by CamperDays. This contest is part of the campaign ‘She Drives’, which consists of a 3-episode interview format (approx. 15 minutes) around the topic ‘Women who run their lives’.
On the website where the interviews are available, visitors have the opportunity to enter a contest by submitting their email address and subscribing to the CamperDays newsletter. The winner will get a 1000 Euro voucher to use in the rental of a campervan through CamperDays' platform.
This contest starts on 8th May 2024 at 00:00 and ends on 29th May 2024 at 23:59. The participants can only participate once by subscribing to the newsletter. CamperDays reserves the right to terminate the competition at any time, even before the stated end date, without stating reasons.
At the end of the competition, a winner will be drawn, who will be notified by e-mail. This will also be the process for sending the 1000 Euro voucher.

Participation and Exclusion

The contest is open to natural persons over 18 years of age. Employees and business partners of CamperDays excluded from participation. Participation is not limited to customers of CamperDays and is not dependent on the purchase of the service. If a participant is limited in his or her legal capacity, the consent of his or her legal representative is required. Furthermore, CamperDays reserves the right, at its discretion, to exclude persons from participation if there are legitimate reasons, for example:
(a) in case of manipulation in connection with access to or conduct of the competition,
(b) in the event of a breach of these terms and conditions of participation, or
(c) in case of dishonest conduct, or
(d) false or misleading information in connection with participation in the competition.
Participation in the competition is free of charge.
Cash payment not accepted and legal recourse
No exchange, collection on site or cash payment of the prize is possible. Legal recourse is excluded. The prize is not transferable.

Termination of the sweepstakes

CamperDays expressly reserves the right to terminate the ‘She Drives’ contest and its integrated promotions at any time, without prior notice and without stating reasons. This applies in particular to any reason that could disrupt or prevent the competition from running as planned.

Data protection information

This data protection information from CamperDays, Holzmarkt 2a, 50676 Cologne, Germany applies to the ‘She Drives Campaign’ of May 2024 and provides information on the processing of personal data in connection with the She Drives contest. Personal data

Personal data is collected or (further) processed for the purpose of running the competition. This includes name, e-mail address and other data for participation in the competition, such as a participation note including the time of participation.
Purpose of processing and legal basis
In connection with the redemption of the voucher, personal data will be processed in accordance with § 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR.
Personal data will be processed for the purpose of running this competition or redeeming the prize. The legal basis for the processing is the performance of a contract in accordance with Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR. Similarly, we also have a legitimate interest in the processing of personal data for the purpose of carrying out the competition within the meaning of Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR. Master and address data as well as data about our service are also processed for commercial or tax reasons, Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. c) DSGVO, §§ 257 Para. 1, 4 HGB; 147 para. 1, 4 AO if the person has successfully participated in our competition or redeemed a voucher.
We may also have to process the data in order to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or to meet legal requirements, Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. c), f) GDPR. Automated decision-making (in particular profiling) does not take place.

Duration of data storage

Data relating to the redemption of a voucher will be stored for 10 years.
The following also applies: Unless otherwise stipulated by law, we store personal data for 3 years; We also store data relevant to commercial or tax law for 6 or 10 years; in these cases, the storage period begins at the end of the year in which the competition was held. We store personal data in connection with the processing of data subjects' enquiries for 3 years from the time the enquiry has been fully processed. If the objection to the processing is admissible, we will delete the data once the objection has been successful.

Categories of recipients of personal data

In principle, data will not be transmitted, unless the transmission is necessary for the execution of the competition, the redemption of the prize (in particular the dispatch of the prizes by logistics companies or our partner companies) or the dispatch of the newsletter.
In addition, we use service providers for the processing of personal data with whom we have entered into contractual agreements, in particular for the sending of e-mails, communication or storage of data. In individual cases, personal data must also be passed on to authorities (especially for criminal prosecution and administrative offences), lawyers (especially for the enforcement and defence of legal claims), tax advisors or auditors (for tax and other legal reasons).
In the event that personal data is transferred to a third country and there is no appropriate decision, we ensure the appropriate processing of the data by means of the measures described in Art. 46 et seq. GDPR; for further information, please contact the data protection officer.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Participants have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
The responsible supervisory authority in the Land of North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany is:

Final Provisions

The promotion and these conditions of participation are governed by German law.
The invalidity of individual provisions of these conditions of participation shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. Any legal recourse is excluded.
