MH-X (10m) – very spacious and comfortable for 4 adults. Also easy to handle on Canadian roads.

We booked an MHC RV quite late, or rather at short notice, so the price was correspondingly higher. I’d recommend everyone to book early. The booking process was really straightforward, and we were provided with all the necessary information – and plenty more besides – about our campervan holiday. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful holiday in Western Canada!

Picking up and returning the car was very straightforward and quick. The car was in great condition. I’d do it again any time

Maxi Travel Camper TC-A, Vancouver, written on 4 months ago

The layout isn’t very well thought out, it’s too dark, and the crockery isn’t suitable for use in a campervan. The battery ran out too quickly! Both the handover and the return were handled in a very customer-friendly manner.

We hired a motorhome through CanaDreams. That was fine. The motorhome was clean and easy to drive. Picking it up and dropping it off was very straightforward. The reason I’ve rated comfort as average is because I was travelling with my son in a 6-berth motorhome, but there was only bedding for the double bed. There were also a few minor issues with the camper, such as the shower door not being able to be opened separately from the main door, so they had to be either both open or both closed. The towel rack in the shower was broken, but apart from that, everything was fine.

Everything worked out very well and was well prepared. The motorhome was equipped as advertised and had everything you needed, including blankets, bedding and towels, which were provided as required.

Saver 6 (MH-B, MH-L, MH-A or MH-X), Vancouver, written on about 1 year ago

The first vehicle had water damage, we had to constantly mop the floor, and the leak could not be found. A replacement was delayed for a long time. The second vehicle was also poorly maintained. A kitchen drawer could not be pulled out because the screw was missing. The bathroom mirror was only attached with three brackets; the fourth was lying on the washbasin.

We'd be delighted to return!

Van Conversion, Vancouver, written on 21 days ago

The first campervan had to be replaced during our stay due to a mouse infestation. The condition of the interior fittings also fell short of our expectations. This really put a damper on our enjoyment. Fraser arranged for a replacement campervan to be delivered to us in the Rockies very quickly and without any fuss. Everything was then absolutely fine with this campervan. All the Fraser staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Fraser transferred a small compensation payment to us for the inconvenience.

We were completely satisfied with Fraserway RV! The campervan was in very good condition, clean and very well equipped. The handover and return went smoothly, and the staff were friendly and professional. A particular highlight: as I have coeliac disease, we needed a new toaster so that we could stick to a gluten-free diet. This wasn’t a problem at all and was sorted out very easily – a brilliant service. All in all, everything was brilliant, and we’d rent from Fraserway RV again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended👍.

I hired a 4x4 pick-up with a camper body. The vehicle was new and in perfect condition; the camper body was older but still in good shape. The only drawback was the ceramic crockery and glass cups. After the first day’s journey, much of the crockery was broken and we had to replace it with plastic alternatives. With a 4x4, it’s easy to imagine travelling on rough roads, and the choice of glass and ceramic turned out to be a disaster. Fortunately, we’d anticipated this. Otherwise, we would have been left without any glasses. I would advise the rental company to invest in good-quality plastic tableware.

It’s all so easy: book, pay, collect and return.

C- Small Motorhome, Vancouver, written on 2 months ago

Everything went smoothly; there were a few minor uncertainties when collecting the car, but these were quickly resolved. It’s always best to double-check everything. It’s best to opt for CDW on the spot at Fraserway to reduce the excess to €0, rather than through a provider in Germany such as Ergo, etc. We had a minor incident, but thanks to the CDW, it wasn’t a problem at all – it was just a formality. We got our deposit back without any issues, despite the minor damage. CDW costs a low three-figure sum on the spot. However, you must have already selected the deposit reduction during the booking process with Camperdays.

The trip was brilliant, but a bit pricey too.

It was just so straightforward. Everything was really well organised, from pick-up to drop-off. The motorhomes are relatively simple but perfectly equipped, making a road trip a perfect experience. Many thanks to the Fraserway team!

Positives: The vehicle offers enough space for 3-4 adults and is well motorised. The petrol consumption of approx. 30 l / 100 km is not atypical, but takes some getting used to. Negative: The generator in our vehicle was already defective when we took delivery and could not be repaired on site. As a result, we often had to drive to campsites with a power supply because laptops, camera batteries etc. could not be charged while driving. The basic pot set is definitely too small for three adults. We still had to equip ourselves here. A pan was also missing. There were a few other minor issues: the indicator for the black water didn't work from the start and we also lost a cover cap for the awning from time to time. We will ask for a price reduction. Let's see what the hire company says.

Really nice service! The RV was in perfect conditions and fully equipped. I will definitely repeat with them.

Great campervan – it had almost everything we needed! It was a pleasure to drive, it had plenty of storage space and the service was excellent (both when we collected it and when we returned it). The shuttle service to the airport hotels was particularly useful for us. However, unfortunately the waste tanks were a real hassle (both grey and black water), as the gauges were inaccurate and even when following the manual, the tanks weren’t empty after emptying them. We missed the ‘internal flushing’ function, which we weren’t allowed to use. Also, some of the mosquito nets were fitted incorrectly and didn’t fit properly, so mosquitoes got in. Once we realised the problem, we fixed it ourselves with some tape. Finally, a few minor points to add: the pan we were given was very small for cooking and there was no toilet brush, so we bought these items at the start of our trip. But all in all: a wonderful experience; we had the camper for two months and loved (almost) every minute of it – so they still get 5 stars 😊

The campervan was perfect for our four-week trip through Western Canada, and everything went smoothly with the hire company. We also received prompt replies whilst on the road whenever questions arose. However, a few things could have been better. The central locking on the passenger side was faulty, as was the black water tank indicator. Towards the end of the trip, there were noises coming from the engine compartment, which the service team were unable to resolve (no available workshop appointments, etc.), resulting in four uncomfortable nights. The cleanliness was generally good, though the floor was dirty. When we returned the motorhome, we noticed there was a box where you can leave anything you no longer need for the next tenants; unfortunately, nobody had pointed this out to us when we collected it, as we would have been happy to take a few items (hairdryer, washing-up liquid, soap, toilet paper, etc.).

The motorhome offers enough space for three adults and is still easy to handle for use in Canada. The equipment was very good.

Very nice mobile home, but like all mobile homes in summer in Canada, very expensive.... Other than that, it was very good!

4 Seater Campervan - All Wheel Drive, Vancouver, written on about 1 year ago

We (the three of us) thoroughly enjoyed our trip with the van. The car is modern and the equipment is exactly what we needed. Adding a bike rack was possible with a tick in the box and worked out well. Communication with the team was easy; they were nice people, focused but with a mindset of flexibility and helpfulness. We will come again.

Great stay, thanks in part to the Karma van. There were two of us and it was perfect. No messing about with equipment or sleeping arrangements, easy to park anywhere in town or at campgrounds or parks. More practical than the big campervans. We had a vehicle that had already been on two trips and it was as good as new. Super simple and efficient pick-up and drop-off procedure. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants simple, comfortable accommodation without the big, bulky luxuries.
