This is the second time we’ve hired a motorhome from Cruis America; everything has always gone very smoothly. You have to leave the motorhomes clean – we realise that they haven’t cleaned them when we pick them up, so we always take our own pack of disinfectant wipes with us and it only takes half an hour. Everything else is perfect for the price they charge.

Vehicle: - Smelled like a wet dog - Fridge smelled strongly of fish - Fridge completely failed when we switched from electricity to LPG (apparently hadn't been checked) Packages: - We had booked many additional packages, including a large "cooking and dining" package. Approximately 50% of the package contents were missing (only a small pan, no pots, no spatula, no ladle, no cutting knives, etc.). Customer service: - The customer service, on the other hand, was very accommodating and always tried to help us with our problems (e.g. we were offered the chance to buy a cool box + ice every day to keep our food cool). - The provider gave us a small discount on the price (two daily rates) because of all our problems.

A very positive first experience with Camper Days and Cruise America. There was a slight delay when collecting the vehicle, but telephone support was available to answer a technical query; the equipment was in good working order, and the handover was quick and friendly. The instructions were clear and the staff were pleasant. I highly recommend them!

Vehicle without reversing camera (although promised), no coat hooks in the wardrobe (not a single one!!), can opener broken and unusable, mobile phone cannot be paired with vehicle, therefore no navigation function, fridge opens when driving, hotplates jump out of the anchorage when driving (cooker completely unsuitable for a motorhome!), no toaster, for 16 days and a motorhome that was intended for 5 people, you only get towels + bedding for 2 people, pick-up station could not be reached by phone (appointments could only be made via the German agency). Return without any problems, too little explanation at pick-up.

Poor equipment. No kettle, no broom, no firelighter, not enough crockery and cutlery. Vehicle very old. According to the contract, the vehicle should not be older than 2 years. Vehicle was at least 7-10 years old. Gas cooker old and defective. Shower curtain defective. Driver's seat not height adjustable. Exterior mirrors not adjustable. Mattresses stained and worn. Air conditioning very loud. No tea towel. Pillows with synthetic filling. No hooks for clothes. Leaky fly screen. Sitting area uncomfortable. Table very high. Pick-up possible in the morning.

The awning was defective after a short time but was repaired but then only worked once and never again. Is already a shortcoming in Florida
