Old-fashioned interior, not comparable with motorhome standard in europe, we had to go to a garage twice, not all defects could be repaired. Defects: kitchen drain defective, water ran into caravan, fridge kept going out (all food spoilt), after repair or later replacement of the fridge, only possible via gas operation, defective curtain for front replaced after repair, acoustic distance warning when reversing defective and could not be rectified, middle sockets without function, injury (not so bad) due to screw not countersunk in exit area stairs, display of waste water tanks incorrect. The received credit note of USD approx. 120 EURO is by far not compensating for the loss of time and especially because of the annoyance (money does not outweigh the disappointment). We lost two days of our holiday as a result, i.e. various desired destinations had to be cancelled. Compensation for spoilt food has to be applied for separately from Germany, decision still pending.

Unfortunately, we were given a model that had around 60,000 miles on the clock and was therefore already "getting on in years". The employee who did the handover with us wasn't 100% motivated either, so she sent us on our way with a faulty fridge (her upcoming lunch break seemed to be more important to her than a good handover). However, thanks to the good customer service on the phone, we found a way to reset it every 2-3 days so that it worked for the whole journey, both on gas and electricity. We also had a brief failure of the water pump, but this was rectified by the telephone customer service and did not occur again. What did work very well was the heating, which we actually needed as we had snow at night in the Grand Canyon and sub-zero temperatures in Yosemite NP. The damage we caused to the front bumper was initially overlooked at the handover and was only recorded when we pointed it out, but then we were charged a moderate price of $1100. We are now hoping that this will be handled well with the additional insurance through ERGO. According to Meta-AI, the average petrol consumption for medium-sized motorhomes in the USA is between 14 and 24 litres per 100 km. Of course, with this old model we were even just above that - namely 24.2 litres per 100 km!!! Nevertheless, we really enjoyed our three weeks in this RV and it brought us safely back to our starting point.

The pick-up at the hotel and the return trip went very well. It was easy to get used to. However, we didn't expect so much noise during the drive.

The vehicle was in great condition. We are satisfied with the handling and the whole vehicle was inspected when we picked it up and any defects were recorded. In the end, we even got back the propane and the "waste" fee we had previously paid, as we had already emptied the camper ourselves.

Picking up the vehicle was uncomplicated, the staff seemed a bit bored and unmotivated, especially annoyed. Our camper - a C30 had 71,000 miles on the clock... the engine was incredibly loud, so that you couldn't understand a word at the wheel. The beds were good, there was nothing wrong with them. The vehicle had not been cleaned and the petrol tank was not full. There were crumbs and dust everywhere. The indicators for grey and black water and the fresh water tank did not work. In the kitchen, the panelling of the cupboards, including the lamp, came loose. The booked kitchen equipment is a joke. 4 plates, 3 cups, at least 3 year old mugs, aluminium cutlery which was very worn, a non-usable pan. The shower leaked so that the camper was always wet after a shower. The fridge stank like mad and the shelves were rusty and missing in places.

Good vehicle for a road-trip of around twenty days in California, Utah and Nevada for two couples. The bunk bed above the driver is not very comfortable, unlike the other double bed. The kitchen is good, with a large sink.

We were very happy with the camper. The model was super new and had everything we needed. The people at El Monte were very helpful and friendly. We can only recommend it!

We spent 2 weeks in our campervan from El Monte, that was our first experience with RV. The pickup process was smooth and the personnel was very helpful and honest. They offered us to thoroughly document scratches on the camper body and not to buy unlimited generator use according to our needs which was very pleasant to us. The trip was wonderful and it was really worth it. Our RV was clean and everything functioned very well, the interior was not new but in a very good condition. The only downside was mattress quality but it didn’t affect my sleep. The cost of fuel was as expected., 20-22 l/100 km but the gas can be pretty cheap there 3-4$/ga lThe drop off was quick. The price was better on camperdays then on official ElMonte website. We are still waiting for the deposit, hope everything will go also smooth.

Very good! I recommend it with my eyes closed! Top pick-up and drop-off, responsive to contacts during the journey. Modern vehicle in good condition.

Air conditioning not working, strong vibrations in the drive train, furniture knocked out, generator not working in hot areas. We were not at all satisfied with the camper. However, after 3 months of negotiation, we got a good 10% of the hire price back. Incidentally, the campervan was 1/2 year old, but was put together very cheaply

Unfortunately, there were various signs of wear and tear, considering that the vehicle was supposed to be no more than 2 years old: - the seat covers of the driver and passenger seats were quite dirty/stained - several cupboards were chipped or the veneer had come loose - the water in the shower tray was difficult to drain because the drain was blocked by hair, the silicone on the tray and the shower bracket were also coming loose from the wall - the lower moulding on the fridge door had to be constantly pushed down - a moulding by the window in the seating area had come loose and could no longer be attached No major defects, but noticeable overall. Photos could be provided if required. Nevertheless, we had a great holiday and would probably book through CamperDays again.

Super nice staff and the booking to drop-off via mighty camper was really great. You get the El Monte service and our vehicle wasn't really much older.

It's a bit too big for two people. We don't have a problem if there are a few scratches on it. But we can't keep an eye on them all when we pick it up. Now we're looking forward to the return?
